The Bostagy application’s services were officially launched in Egypt on Sunday (02.10.2022), according to Essam Al-Saghir, the founder and CEO of eGate Egypt for the automation of logistical services.
In order to provide logistics and transportation services, the application services uses a variety of vehicles, including large trucks, vans, cars, and trucks with specialized equipment for moving furniture and appliances like refrigerators, as well as tow trucks.
Before entering the Egyptian market, Al-Saghir claimed that the company had successfully activated the application services in a number of African nations.
Bostagy client base
Bostagy will offer its services to private clients as well as proprietors of corporations, small businesses, and major institutions. The application enables users to choose the location where the shipment will be delivered or transported and includes a description and a picture to help them choose the right time and location.
The software provides users with a list of all available transit options and their costs. Users can ask for assistance loading and unloading a package. The app sends this request to drivers in the area who have the necessary transportation. Using GPS to find the user at the beginning of the journey, they may then utilize the application to communicate with them.
Additionally, the application transmits a secret code to the recipient to verify delivery, and credit cards, electronic wallets, or cash can be used for payment.
By downloading shipment data, choosing the best mode of transportation through the application, and monitoring the mode of transportation, deliveries, and performance reports, the application also offers many features for small business owners to automate operational processes without an electronic connection to the platform.
Al-Saghir noted that the platform enables businesses to electronically connect with it, submit transportation orders, track services using barcodes, and evaluate driver performance to cut down on problematic occurrences.
